Emboaca

With steady winds between 18 and 25 knots, Emboaca is the perfect place to fine-tune your wingfoil technique. Clean swell, wide beaches and manageable conditions make it ideal for structured coaching sessions.
Here we focus on fundamentals and progression: refining jibes and tacks, improving pumping efficiency, optimizing board trim, and developing confident wave positioning.
It’s the ideal starting point to build flow, control and confidence before moving further north

We plan to do multiple Downwinds from Guajiru to Emboaca.

Jericoacoara

The further north we go, the stronger the wind becomes — often reaching 30 knots and more around Jericoacoara. The coastline opens up, creating longer and more dynamic downwind opportunities.  We ride extended downwind routes toward Preá and Guriú, working on linking swell lines, reading the ocean, and maintaining speed and efficiency over distance.
This is where the Safari becomes more powerful, more adventurous, and more performance-oriented.

We plan to wing at Jeri itself and do a downwind to Guriu.

Icaraizinho

Icaraí combines consistent mid-range winds around 20 knots with long sandy beaches and playful, well-spaced swell.
Riding directly in front of our accommodation, we enjoy pumping downwind routes toward Caetanos and Baleia, focusing on rhythm, wave connection and clean carving lines.

Here the Safari finds its perfect balance between technical progression and pure riding pleasure.

Kite Safari

Kite Safari:

Are you ready to travel with us along the northeast coast of Brazil? Do you love kiting in the waves and having fun on endless downwinders?
Our Kite Safari has just that!

Brazil is the perfect place for a Kite Safari, with its steady and constant winds, wide beaches, and long waves. We will go on a kite trip together and discover the best spots Brazil has to offer. During our Kite Safari, we will visit three different places, stay in different hotels and pousadas, and go kitesurfing together at different spots. Each place has its own charm and offers great conditions for downwinders and fantastic sessions in the Atlantic.

  • Emboaca: A very nice spot with winds between 18 and 25 knots. It’s the perfect place for coaching and to reach your individual next level.
  • Jeri: Further north, Jeri offers strong winds averaging 30 knots. We will do downwinders to Prea, Guriu, and Tatajuba, giving you a chance to explore a variety of spots.
  • Icaraizinho: On the way back south, Icaraizinho boasts great downwinders in winds averaging 20 knots. Here, we’ll enjoy downwinders to Caetanos and Baleia for an unforgettable adventure, as well as kiting right in front of our accommodation.

The wind gets stronger the further north we go, making every session more exciting. During the Kite Safari, there will be pick-ups to take us from the downwinder back to our main spot or hotel and shuttles to transport us to the different locations. You will spend every free minute on the water, be supervised by professional instructors, and discover the best kite spots in Brazil with us!

Kite Safari Q&A

A two-week kitesurf journey along Brazil’s wind coast combining epic downwinders, guided riding, community spirit and premium wind conditions.

Independent intermediate to advanced riders who want to progress naturally while riding great spots and experiencing mid-distance downwinds.

No. You should ride safely upwind, control your kite confidently and be fully self-sufficient on the water.

It is primarily an adventure safari with guided riding – progression happens naturally through time on the water, not through structured training sessions.

You will receive practical tips and feedback during sessions when possible. However, especially on long downwind days, the focus is on guiding, safety and group flow — not structured coaching blocks.

Wave riding, strapless control, jumping technique, kite efficiency, long-distance downwinds and ocean reading skills.

Daily briefings, coaching sessions, downwinders balanced with free riding time.

Maximum riding time. Brazil offers consistent wind, often allowing multiple sessions per day.

Equipment is optional. You can bring your own gear or rent premium kites and boards for a small fee. We have kites and boards from Duotone and Core with us, all from new season 2027.

Reliable trade winds, typically 18–30+ knots depending on location and time of season — ideal for performance riding.

No. They are a highlight of the safari but participation depends on your confidence and daily conditions.

No rescue boats. All routes are planned in reliable side-onshore wind conditions, typical for Brazil, ensuring you always drift safely back toward shore.

Detailed briefings, group riding structure, defined meeting points and clear communication protocols for every downwind.

Accommodation, breakfast, spot transfers, safari logistics, coaching and daily organization from arrival to departure. Flights are not included.

Wingfoil Safari Q&A

Intermediate to advanced riders who already ride both directions and want real progression in waves and downwind.

Yes. You should be able to ride comfortably upwind and control the board in stronger wind. No beginner lessons.

Wave riding lines, swell connection, efficient pumping, foot switches, tacks/jibes in open ocean and long-distance downwind strategy.

Daily coaching sessions: briefings, on-water feedback, video analysis and individual tips adapted to your level.

As much as conditions allow — typically multiple sessions per day depending on wind and energy.

No, Equipment is not included. You will have to bring your own equipment.

We’ll help you choose correct sizes before the trip.

Consistent trade winds: moderate to strong, ideal for progression and downwinds.

No. They are strongly encouraged but always optional depending on confidence and daily condition.

Moderate to high. Expect long sessions, open-ocean riding and active coaching days. Rest days are possible anytime.

Small group to ensure safety, logistics and individual feedback.

We adapt: technique workshops, theory, video review, mobility sessions or ocean activities.

Our coachers organize the routes, briefings, supervision and pickup during downwinds.
During open sea downwinds, you will have to have some safety equipment like a satelite phone and phone.
We run the downwinds by buddy system, avoiding being alone in the water.

For open-ocean sessions and downwinders, we strongly recommend: helmet, sunhat, sunglasses with strap, phone in a waterproof case, and a small technical backpack. For extra safety, a satellite device like the Garmin inReach 2 is highly recommended.

Helmet and waterproof phone protection are mandatory for downwinders.
Satellite communicators (e.g. Garmin inReach 2) are highly recommended and can be rented or purchased before the safari. We can advise you on the best setup. Please get in touch with enough time to be able to organize it.

No. We do not operate rescue boats. All downwind routes are carefully selected with reliable side-onshore wind conditions — typical for Brazil — ensuring a safe drift back toward the beach at all times.

We ride exclusively in consistent side-onshore trade winds. This means you always return toward land, not offshore. In addition, we ride as a group, plan routes carefully, use communication devices where needed, and conduct detailed safety briefings before every downwind.

Accommodation, breakfast, transfers between spots, guiding, coaching and daily planning. Flights not included.

Absolutely. The safari is structured but flexible — you ride as much or as relaxed as you want.

Both — adventure travel combined with structured progression coaching, following the primesurf safari spirit.
